DBS checks
All staff who work directly with our service users are required to hold a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including an Adults' Barred List check where applicable.
If you do not currently hold a valid DBS check, we will arrange one for you.
Training & induction
All new staff complete a structured induction programme before starting unsupervised work. Mandatory training includes:
- Safeguarding Adults (Level 2+)
- Mental Capacity Act (MCA) & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
- Moving and Handling (practical)
- Infection Prevention & Control
- Fire Safety
- Basic Life Support & First Aid
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
- Information Governance & GDPR
We support staff to achieve the Care Certificate and fund progression towards qualifications such as the Level 2/3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Interview
A face-to-face interview at our offices or a suitable location, where we'll explore your experience, values, and motivations.

Pre-employment checks
We'll arrange an Enhanced DBS check, verify your right to work in the UK, and take up references.

Induction
Once all checks are complete, you'll begin our structured induction programme and start your journey with us.
